Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met with CEOs and representatives of major American companies in Washington D.C. on Wednesday. On Saturday May 5th ( 2018), the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Washington DC will have the honour to join more than 75 other nations participating in Passport DC, opening its doors to the gracious public and the Iraqi community in the USA during Around the World Embassy Tour.

Ambassador Faily participated in two business roundtables in San Jose and San Diego, California which were organized by the Embassy of Iraq and the U.S. Arab Chamber of Commerce to facilitate dialogue about current and future business opportunities between the two countries.

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, on Monday evening Baghdad time, visited the Pentagon in Washington D.C., where he was received by the U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. The visit began with an official welcoming ceremony, including playing the national anthems of Iraq and the United States.

President Salih hosted a meeting of the Presidencies today into the al- Salam palace in the presence of the Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi and the Speaker of Parliament Mohammed al-Halbouosi.
