His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi met, this day in Ankara, The President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who makes an official reception at the presidential palace in which national anthem of the two Republics played, the official inspection of the honor guard were made too, and 21 projectiles fired in greeting for His Excellency's visit.
At the end of the official reception ceremony, His Excellency Prime Minister and The Turkish President went to hold a bilateral meeting

His Excellency welcomed the US Secretary of State and his accompanying delegation,
Confirmed on the importance of Iraqi-US relations, especially in the field of war against Daesh terrorist gang as well as cooperation in the field of energy and economy, Pointing out that Iraq is a democratic country witnessing remarkable development and keen on the stability of the region and the establishment of normal relations with Arab, friendly countries and all neighboring countries.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi has received EU Counter-terrorism Coordinator Gilles de Kerchove and his accompanying delegation.
His Excellency has confirmed his keenness to strengthen the security and stability throughout Iraq and particularly in liberated territories, assuring that the security forces did their national and humanitarian duty professionally until security file to be handed over the to the local police forces, Pointing out to continuing the training and the rehabilitation in order to increase the efficiency of security forces.

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim participated in the 6th Istanbul Mediation Conference which is taking place in Turkey with the participation of representatives from different countries of the world.

The conference will discuss mediation, efforts to resolve disputes through peaceful means, and prepare guidelines . In addition, experts, researchers and academics from around the world will seek ways to promote the use of mediation as an important means of preventing conflicts and finding solutions through diplomacy.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi , in his offices on Monday ,received The U.S. CENTCOM Commander General Joseph Votel and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they discussed the victories achieved ,international support for Iraq in fighting Terrorism, post-Daesh and Global, Regional cooperation with Iraq
