His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received, this day, EU's delegation, during the meeting; they discussed mutual collaboration between Iraq and EU in the counter-terrorism file, exchange the views concerning how to deal with Daesh 's detainees' large number to face a fair trial in accordance with the law.

Confirmed on the importance of Iraqi-US relations, especially in the field of war against Daesh terrorist gang as well as cooperation in the field of energy and economy, Pointing out that Iraq is a democratic country witnessing remarkable development and keen on the stability of the region and the establishment of normal relations with Arab, friendly countries and all neighboring countries.

Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi said that the latest success in the liberation of Iraqi cities in Hawija and the defeat for Daesh is a success for all of us as Iraqis and for our friends and supporters because it is a common enemy and this cooperation must continue to eliminate the danger.

During his meeting with the French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly, PM Al-Abadi added: “We look forward to a broader cooperation with the French side in the field of armament, training and intelligence cooperation.

We do express our full support for the supreme religious authority led by His Sayyad Ali al-Sistani's stand and directives, which was included in the Friday prayer sermon today. This holy platform did launch the Fatwah AL-jihad that preserved the unity of Iraq and the interests of its people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq recalled on August 19 the crime of assault by the terrorist groups in 2009, in which the ministry blew up dozens of martyrs of its guards, employees and diplomatic staff, in addition to injuring hundreds of wounded, and on the same date targeted the building of the United Nations Special Mission in 2003, which killed Mr. Sergio de Mello, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, who provided much of the gift that will be preserved by the memory of the Iraqis as well as many of the staff of the International Mission.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has made, Today Sunday evening, a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Both Leaders have hailed the victory over Daesh's terrorist's gangs and liberating the entire Iraqi territories, which was achieved with the determination of the heroic Iraqi forces and with the support and assistance of the US-led coalition forces.

Theresa May congratulates Him on recent liberation of Mosul and defeating Daesh, commended the bravery and sacrifice of Iraqi forces.

The British Prime Minister confirmed the continued support of her country to the Iraqi government and Iraqi forces in the areas of arming and training,

The Supreme Coordination Committee among the governorates held its second meeting / third session in Baghdad this morning presided by His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi, while Governors, members of provincial councils, Minister of Finance, Construction and Housing, a number of general managers and advisors were attended the meeting.
