His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has met Interpol Secretary General Jürgen Stock, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

At the beginning of the meeting, the French President welcomed the Prime Minister, stressing the great interest in this visit and expressed the common desire of the two countries to develop friendly relations and cooperation. He also congratulated the victories achieved by the Iraqi forces and the success achieved by Iraqis in liberating their country.

The two leaders held a bilateral meeting and then proceeded to preside over the joint expanded governmental meeting, followed by a joint press conference.

His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi has received, in his office today on Wednesday, the heads of the Christian denominations.
His Excellency has congratulated them on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, wishing everyone a year of love and peace, stressing the government's care for all citizens regardless of their religious or political affiliation,
He has said that all Iraqis are equal in rights and duties; we are seeking to deepen this understanding in all segments of society, including our security forces in all areas of Iraq, especially liberated areas.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi, during the meeting they discussed strengthening the relations between the two countries and the opening of airlines transportations, facilitating entering visas, As well as joint Iraq and Oman's role in maintaining security and stability in the region.

Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim participated in the 6th Istanbul Mediation Conference which is taking place in Turkey with the participation of representatives from different countries of the world.

The conference will discuss mediation, efforts to resolve disputes through peaceful means, and prepare guidelines . In addition, experts, researchers and academics from around the world will seek ways to promote the use of mediation as an important means of preventing conflicts and finding solutions through diplomacy.

His Excellency Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi has inaugurated Iraq's International Security, Defense and Military industrial Exhibition, in Iraq under the slogan (we won by our unity.. for Reconstruction we move).
His Excellency has made a tour in the exhibition, which was attended by a large number of countries and international companies, in addition to national companies.
