In accordance with the requirements of UN Security Council Resolution 2107 (2013) and under the direction of Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamed A. Alhakim, the Foreign Ministry and the Iraqi Embassy in Kuwait handed a shipment of Kuwaiti property to the Kuwaiti side on Tuesday, 13/11/2018.

The Foreign Ministry expresses its intention to move forward to strengthen bilateral relations and show the best of good-neighborly relations, and emphasized Iraq's commitment to resolve all remaining outstanding issues with Kuwait.

PM al-Abadi Receives A Call from PM of Turkey

Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi received on Saturday a phone call from the Turkish Prime Minister Mr. Ben Ali Yildirim .
Mr. Yildirim extended his Excellency's condolences and that of the Turkish people for the martyrdom of a number of pilgrims visiting the shrine of Imam Hussein, commenting that: "Those who perpetrated this crime are the same murderers who killed Imam Hussein (PBUH) "."They are our common enemies. A Statement on the ninth anniversary of the terrorist bombing targeting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Mission in Baghdad

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq recalled on August 19 the crime of assault by the terrorist groups in 2009, in which the ministry blew up dozens of martyrs of its guards, employees and diplomatic staff, in addition to injuring hundreds of wounded, and on the same date targeted the building of the United Nations Special Mission in 2003, which killed Mr. Sergio de Mello, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, who provided much of the gift that will be preserved by the memory of the Iraqis as well as many of the staff of the International Mission.
